Sandra Priest has that rare eye that captures the quiet moments of life in Downeast Maine. Her watercolor paintings personify the relics of an era past; dooryard poppies at dusk, a dory waiting, spruce-covered headlands are some of her famous themes. Offering watercolor paintings, giclee reproductions, notecards, and commissions.

Lynch Hill Farms, Inc

Lynch Hill Farms is located in Harrington, a small village on the coast of Maine, where the Hammond family owns and operates a farm that has been in existence for over thirty years. Parents Robert and Helene were raised in Downeast Maine and brought up their family of five on the farm, instilling in them a strong work ethic. The family has blossomed over the years and there are now twenty-three of them! Four of the five kids still live in Downeast Maine and work on the farm, along with many of the grandchildren who range from ages five to twenty-five.

The family farm grows a little bit of everything from America’s three native fruits- blueberries, cranberries, and grapes- to shiitake mushrooms and garden vegetables. They also create beautiful balsam products with locally and sustainably harvested balsam fir and pine that are available locally or can be shipped anywhere in the US through the holiday seasons. (Cranberries are also able to be shipped anywhere in the US in October and November.)

Come visit Lynch Hill Farms, open seasonally July through December, and you are sure to meet one or more of the Hammonds! (Tours available by request.)
